Prickly Pattern | Wild Purple Teasel

At first I thought this was some sort of thistle, but a look in my Ontario nature guide told me this is the Wild Purple Teasel, originally native to Eurasia and Africa. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it next summer when it’s a little more on the purple side.
