Bonsai Maple | Algonquin Provincial Park

November 3, 2013

The unusal shape of this little maple tree (or are there two trees?), which stood out against the green pines, reminded me of a bonsai tree, even though it was about six feet tall. It’s probably not going to fare too well in the long run given that it’s in a spot with shallow, acidic soil.
