DDR Rill | St.-Wolfgang-Straße

July 3, 2016

This very modern landscape consisting of polished, minimalist benches, a linden allée and a rill running toward the Spree is located in one of the oldest parts of Berlin. Berlin doesn’t really have an old, medieval part like many other European cities, and it’s sometimes confusing to see that some of the city’s newest buildings and landscapes are actually in the areas that were first to be settled. Currently the building right next to this site is the DDR Museum.
